Day 7
Mir cooked a fantastic meal, it was a warm roast with fresh bread. Delicious! One of the passengers, Santorelli, didn't come to dinner so Clyde went and woke him up. He took a while to return after waking the passenger... strange. There was also Orest, a Tiefling passenger that keeps watching people, I am suspicious of him, but don't know what to make of it. At night, Santorelli approached the captain about something of his being stolen. Morgan SeaDreamer approached Clyde and returned the stolen magical mason jar. Orest (passenger) came above deck before the bell rang...
Everyone was summoned on deck except Umbrell who was missing. Saoirse told the crew to return the stolen object and be flogged. Morgan SeaDreamer came forward, informing her that she found it in Clydes quarters. He failed to defend himself. Umbrell was found, throat slit and mouth carved behind the wheel. The mason jar was returned and it turned out that it had been opened, which shocked Santorelli!
Saoirse interrogated the crew with Morgan SeaDreamer's Zone of Truth spell. The captain took Clyde in and had him put on a leather jerkin as well as having Benedict place him in manacles before going into the circle of truth and coming under its effects. As he was to be strung up for his lashes, he took it with gritted nubs. The captain gave us all orders to not be alone, to be guarded while asleep... later that night though, the ghost apparently attempted to possess Clyde, but he resisted and it parted saying "Oh, think of the fun I could have had with you."
