Is it the song of the Youalra? Its voice is famous across all of Taugata. Not the prettiest of birds, its feathers dull and its beak bulbous, but listen to her song! She is called the Lover of the Winds. Not what you are looking for? Then perhaps it is beauty that you seek.
This angelic bird is a splendor. The Leran. Another bird of the Taugata. Look how its silver feathers gleam like that of a mirror? It's beak, a sword for justice. Truly an elegant pet. Of course, perhaps you seek something more practical. Do you hunt?
Come with me, to the back. Ignore the cages. Dead? Absolutely not. They are asleep peacefully. I cannot afford the cries of this bird scaring away my customers. Here we are. This is a beast from the Jotun mountains of Vadath.
A lesser Roc. Almost big enough to ride, and the second most dangerous and clever bird in the world. Second to only its larger cousin. With the right training, this bird can take down a full-grown deer. Illegal? Only in some places. If that does not bother you, then I have a few birds that may interest you.
The Black Dart. Harmless itself, but the yolk of its eggs can drop a full grown Vadathan Elk. Or perhaps you seek something a bit more "exotic". You notice the bird's beak is tied, yes? That is so it cannot scream for help. Yes, indeed this is a talking bird. A perfect spy, should you tame it. Or maybe this oddity from a land far off with no name. Tell it your deepest secret and it might be undone.
