Lith Vanguard

Leadership is a responsibility Lith bears heavily. She fears making decisions that harm those she has sworn to protect. A lesser known fear she harbors is the fear of losing her freedom - a life without the open wilderness to wander is unthinkable to her.
She is an imposing figure, standing at an impressive six feet tall with a muscular build. Her short, jagged fiery-red hair frames her piercing gray eyes and weathered, determined face. Her skin is lightly tanned from long hours spent in the outdoors, and her body bears the marks of numerous old battles - visible scars that demonstrate her experience in her line of work.
She has a habit of cleaning her weapon meticulously, often while deep in thought. She also prefers to be outside, feeling somewhat claustrophobic indoors. She has a surprising love for the arts - a hobby not shared by many of her rough and tumbled ilk.
Despite her rugged exterior, Lith has a soft spot for art. She enjoys painting miniatures, crafting landscapes and scenes from her travels and missions. She also spends her free time tuning her ranger skills and keeping her body and mind sharp.
Lith hails from a small frontier village, the daughter of hunters. Tragedy struck when a predatory creature took her parents. This event shaped her, setting her on the path of the ranger. She quickly proved her aptitude for tracking and combat, earning respect and eventually leading her to form The Shadows. She realized that the key to protecting people from the horrors of the frontier was not to react to threats, but to proactively eliminate them. Today, Lith's guild is renowned for its effective investigators, relentless bounty hunters, and cunning thieves who seek to balance the scales and render the wilderness a little less wild.
Lith carries herself with an air of authority and decisiveness. She has a grim determination about her, though she can be surprisingly warm to those she considers friends. She is intelligent and strategic, always thinking a few steps ahead. She adheres by a strict code of honour and always delivers on her promises.
