Penley Himfol

A slight gnome with sparkling eyes that flicker with understanding and inquisitive nature. Penley's appearance is marked by his silver hair, neatly combed back, unkempt beard, and an enchanting smile that very rarely leaves his face. His skin has a faint, blue tinge. His attire is usually composed of a set of simple, gray robes complemented by a cloak of the same shade, further signifying his status as the leader of The Gray Cloak Sages. Around his neck, a small pair of glasses dangle, waiting to be used for his next reading. On his finger, he wears an unusual ring with arcane inscriptions.
He is sometimes unaware of his surroundings when engrossed in his thoughts or books.
Besides his unending love for reading and learning, Penley enjoys writing. He is presently crafting a treatise on the relationship between transmutation magic and quantum physics.
Coming from a lineage of librarians, Penley was born with an innate desire to acquire and share knowledge. His primary goal is to use his acquired knowledge for the greater good, preserving ancient texts and histories, teaching people about magic's true nature, and preventing the misuse of magical entities.
