Letters from Camp - July 6, 2023

Progress is relative

Another day down. I worked a bit on the Reflect title, and started in on the Spirit Eaters - my fierce beasts. I used a chunk of time today wracking my brain over my apparent inability to come up with clever names for things. "Cat" and "Big Cat" being insufficient. Most of my day was spent in meetings. So while my word count is not much improved, I was productive. Just not in the area I wanted to be! Tomorrow is another day filled with meetings. I'm also trying to stop work at a reasonable time and enjoy my family. I'm even prioritizing sleeping and eating, which feels very decadent. Hopefully, this will keep me from burning out.
