Saintology

There are many ways to revere the important people of the past - and that what Saints are to the members of the new church. They are people who lead by example and they had such a great life and did such great deeds that it led to miracles: the reality followed their example as well and it twisted and bent into a new shape under their fingers.   When a Saint passes, there is a number of steps that need to be followed. Their body must be properly taken care of, people and their pupils need to be able to say their proper goodbyes and a vigil is held for a dozen days. After that the body is washed again and buried in a marble tomb under a church of the Saint's choosing or a new church is built above the place where they passed. Some Saints who feel they are nearing the end of their life choose to die in a specific place on purpose to give a solid reason for the building of a new church in areas where there is no proper place for worship.   After all of that a new official portrait is created of this saint and slowly included in churches all over the world. The frame for the portrait has a little altar attached on the bottom for gifts and offerings. An official statement is published from the Archdeacon about what items are appropriate to bring when one is seeking and advice and divine help and intervention from a saint. Apart from the gifts, there are specific prayers associated with asking for help from the saints. Prayers are spoken silently in worshipers head but they are led as dialogues and people are advised to listen closely to any advice that might appear in their brain as it is the divine voice of the pure heart speaking back to them and giving them the proper direction on what to do in their specific situations.   There are also specific celebration for each saint on the dates of their (supposed) birthday and on the day of their death.
