Tempax

Ancient beyond all reckoning, Tempax has spawned and demolished one thousand-thousand civilizations and will spawn one thousand-thousand more. Called 'The Cradle' among knowledgeable extra-planar entities, this was the first place for life to spawn in mortal form when this iteration of the multiverse began to settle into its purpose and will continue its role of birthing mortal life until the end of time if the deities have their way.   In its current state, it exists in an odd state of quasi-feudalistic societies, confused by an overly-active deity of death who demands that all beings live to their fullest and city-states whose populaces reject old ideas of empires and kingdoms. The elves have recently returned from their most recent millennia-long exodus, placing the political landscape into further confusion.   Here, on a world kept in artificial environmental conditions by forces unknown, where those venturing beyond the known map don't return, another thousand stories are taking place every day, all to fuel the Engine of Creation.
