Architecture
Durga Class destroyers are military ships that although spartan in their design make more allowances than standard patrol boat the well being of their crew.
The Durga Class is keeping quite a low profile utilizing a 4 decks vertical architecture and clearly separate the concern of each deck.
Deck 1
The lowest Deck of the ship is focused on the storage of cargo and personnel. The cargohold of the ship, its ramp and primary airlock as positioned on the aft. On the midship's port and starboard the corridor gives access to the 2 boarding pods of the ship while the fore of the 1st deck is dedicated to the Exterior Ordnance cell array. One of the two heavy particle beams turrets is emplaced under the cargo hold right in the middle of the ship.
Deck 2
The Second deck of the ship is the operations deck. In Midship, right in the heart of the ship one can find the bridge of the ship. On its aft the corridor leads to the Engineering room that take most of the aft of the ship and host the ships primary power plant and engines. In between the Bridge and the Engine room one can find the Sensors array and the Computer Core. The Shield generators for both the stealth and the particle screen are placed on the fore of the second deck.
Deck 3
The Living quarters of both officers and personnel as well as the common areas are located on the third deck in the middle of the ship. The Fabricator, MedBay and Labs of the ship are also placed here. The aft of the 3rd deck is mostly comprised of the 2nd floor of the Engineering of the ship and it is taken by the StarDrive Generator and the Accumulator Battery Banks. The fore of the 3rd deck hosts the secondary power plant of the ship. The 4 particle beam turrets of the ship are placed on the Board and Starboard of the third deck, extending outside the shp
Deck 4
The forth deck of the ship is the smallest of them mostly hosting the antennas of the sensors of the ship, the Probe Launcher and the second heavy particle beam turret.
