Boreal Sea

The Boreal Sea is the body of water north of Wolfsbrunn and south of Naldorec. During the winter ice can form on the boreal sea, which causes tradeships destined for Rornach and Altenport to suffer delays and sometimes even be shipwrecked.
The sea itself holds a bounty of creatures. Whales, seals and large schools of fish live in these waters and are hunted for their meat, bones and blubber by the people of Wolfsbrunn and Naldorec. However, the most notable and precious material that can naturally be found in this sea is Amniteum. These pressurized ammonite fossils can be found at the bottom of the sea and in the rock of the islands that have risen from the sea.
