The Galaxy of Scum Universe

When humanity ventured out into the stars, we expected our race to flourish as the dominant form of life in all of the galaxy. This could not of been further from the truth, the moment our bipedal kind searched beyond the stars, we learned that we were not alone. Even worse, that most of the galaxy had already been conquered and claimed by a vast and diverse range of species, forever competing and conflicting with one another in a chaotic period of the galaxies history.   In the year 2765, the Milky Way galaxy is rife with strange creatures and power hungry factions, the average sentient can do little agaisnt maurding Space Pirates and Criminal Overlords. Mega-Corporations rule over entire systems, ruthlessly exploiting every resource imaginable while entities like the United Coalition strive to free the under their own brand of ''buerecratic democracy.''   However, for those brave enough to make something of themselves, there is oppurtunity. Bounty Hunters, Mercenaries and Smugglers risk limb and tentacle for a shot at the big leauges, taking on the jobs and missions nobody else will.
