"Had we been aware how unique it was, more effort would have been taken to preserve it. To us, it was just another item-not made with the traditional material we used, but an object nonetheless. We didn't know the care, the creativity that had been impressed on it through the artist's gentle hand-It took us days of scanning old records to even find the original artist. It likely decayed in the thousands of years since the Memoria's demise. Just one of many lessons we have brought with us from the past, going forward."
Significance
The Canvas is unique amongst Memoria artifacts as it is not made from the traditonal materials of plastic, metal and [item]. It was canvas, on a wooden frame covered in oil paint. Mechanicals have stated that most 'art' created by the memoria was purely ephemreal, and could be erased as easily as it was brought into existance. It was The Canvas' permeance that gave it its unique qualities- It persisted beyond the probable death of its creator.

Rarity
While canvases decorated with glorious works of art are common in the Mortal Lands today, in the time of its creation it was unique; The Memoria did not create art in physical forms. Their art was either created digitally, or comissioned to the fleet of robots at their disposal. The Canvas is the only known Memoria artwork that was created in a physical form.
