Balthazar, Emissary to the Boki

Emissary Balthazar is a man of great stature and joy born in the penal colony of Dupree. Balthazar serves the House of the Healing Heart as the Emissary to the tribes of the Boki in the Forest of Thorns in the northeastern Lochlands. As a ranking member of the White Heart, one would think that Balthazar would have no place or voice with the Boki tribes, but his determination, strength of spirit and quiet presence has afforded the Emissary a great deal of respect within the Boki. It is often said that Emissary Balthazar won a war fought without weapons against the Boki. Such is the level of respect that the Boki have for the Emissary that years ago, Balthazar was able to meet with the Warlord of the Boki tribes and performed the Trothing of the Warlord’s daughter to Ki’Raiden, sixth thane of the Boki.
The Emissary spends most of his time in the Thornwold, visiting the various Thaneholds. When he returns to civilization, he spends time in the House of the Healing Heart in Newcastle, Darkholm and Dupree Proper.
