The Seven Seeds

When the first magic flowed through the Urth, it collected and settled in the very stuff of Urth. The magic became form. At first, the form was mutable. Soon, the very power of creation and transformation settled. Art and wonder gave way to understanding and formula. Materials became synonymous with the power they absorbed. That bond became law. Did the Giants write these laws, or did they discover them? Sources vary, but one thing is clear, the Giants became the first to master it. They crafted the Seven Seeds. The foundation of alchemical power.   The First Seed is Gold. Gold holds the power to capture and ascend. It is known that these properties are useful against the mystical Eyes of Tal’shal’loth and their scions.   The Second Seed is Silver. Silver holds the power to reflect and reveal. It is known that these properties are useful against the everchanging Shifters and their scions.   The Third Seed is Copper. Copper holds the power to channel and restore. It is known that these properties are useful against the Elementals of the Ascendancies and the Great Aether.   The Fourth Seed is Tin. Tin holds the power to blend and bind. It is known that these properties are useful against the creatures of Dream and their scions.   The Fifth Seed is Lead. Lead holds the power to destroy and kill.
