Now a small village, once the port town on Aven Crum. Eighty years ago, a terrible storm came down from the mountains and caused much of the headlands overlooking the lake to collapse. The lake is now larger and lower than it was. Much of Glannock fell into the water, and occasionally still does as the remaining headlands erode. The village is now perched on a high spur between the Bottle and the cliffs overlooking Aven Crum.
