Unification

The final battle of the War of the Gods, resulting in the Shieldmaiden and Conqueror assimilating to become the Unifier, a being of raw power lacking the complete sentience of either God.

The final battle was a bloody one, the Gods lay scattered across the ground, the mortal armies were nearly entirely defeated. Only the Shieldmaiden and the Conqueror were still standing, and in his frustration, seeing that it was over and knowing he couldn't beat the Aegis, the Conqueror went to strike his spear into reality itself, shattering everything with it. The Shieldmaiden intercepted the blow, the the damage was still irreversable, the planes shattered and seperated from one another and knowing neither they nor she could withstand another blow, she clutched the Conqueror and merged herself with him, becoming a new being. Following this event, the Gods Serra and Avarice are sealed, the Gods giving more of their power to lock the two away.
