At the age of 37, Andrea, a knight of the Aegis is selected by Solus to become one of his chosen knights, despite her being Marked for Undeath.
The decision to choose Andrea was a contentious one, even the Shieldmaiden was said to have disagreed with Solus' decision. Andrea was human, prone to rage and more importantly, marked for undeath. No aasimar hitherto selected had received Morrow's mark, the Gods feared to greatly what an undead aasimar may be capable of. Solus rejected the Gods' advice and granted Andrea divine power anyway, simply stating 'Perish not Dame, for I dislike being wrong'.
