The Death of Sundara

Era beginning/end

The Conqueror kills Sundara, revealing to the Gods that they too are capable of dying and plunging the world into chaos.

History prior to this event is hazy to say the least, the Gods' War tore the planes apart and an unfortunate casualty of that tearing was apparently whatever libraries they had back then. What we know is that prior to the death of Sundara, the planes were united as one. Evil existed, as it always has and always will, but it was disorganised and often easily dealt with. The Gods themselves erected enormous castles and walked the land, greeting and helping mortals as was their divine duty. While must have undoubtedly been some build up to the death of Sundara, whatever it was is unknown to us. Her death is the only point of certainty we have, and so most historians use it as a starting point when writing about the past.
