War with Averna

Political event

Averna, an Empire to the east of Mytha declares war on Mytha. It is eventually uncovered that much of the Avernan heirarchy were apart of the Undead Court and sought to give power to their God, Morrow.

The War started under mysterious circumstances, repeated assassination attempts on the Everking and the other provincial kings with an eventual attack on a Mythan fleet by Avernan forces. War broke out, and diplomacy seemed to fail at every turn. The war was largely naval and no invasion was ever successful, with the Mythans having access to both dragons and a superior navy courtesy of the Pimont family. However Mytha had no intent on invading Averna instead working to bring down the country's leadership from the inside by supporting a party of adventurers. The party rallied the people and encouraged them to rise against their lords, revealed to be cultists of Morrow, the God of Necromancy.
