For many the war was over, but within the Broken Isles, invading forces still gathered, ready for a second assault on Mytha. A small band of Empire Rangers infiltrated the largest of the military strongholds and successfully sealed the largest of the rifts connecting the invaders' plane to Prima

With the war all but over, life returned to normal for many. But those within the Empire knew that the war was anything but over. One Tear remained, the original tear through which the invasion had begun. Rather than risk traversing the difficult terrain of the Broken Isles, the Empire sent a small team of Rangers to find a way to seal the Source Tear. The Rangers were never heard from again, but the tear was closed. The stranded invaders scattered, most going to the Underdark.
