Kesundang the sword mountain
Our reality is a place of impossibly tall mountains, infinite seas, and rugged reliefs, but few are as storied as Kesundang, the sword-mountain that pierces the underworld. The second tallest mountain known to Yu-Shan, and unlike its superlative, one who has successfully been climbed completely to its summit. At the center of its own island, few mistake Kesundang for anything else.
At the edges of the island are beaches, surrounding thick, impenetrable tropical forest, The forest of Wandering Hunger, filled with hungry ghosts, the forest is cut by a river, fed by The lake of satisfying suffering, a trap for unwary ghosts, that heals them, but tests their will to escape the forest, should they fail this test, they will be unable to resist the pull of the lake, sometimes leaping the river like ghostly, humanoid salmon leaping upriver to its banks, where they will calcify, losing their place in the cycle of reincarnation.
