Lady Persimmon

I was but a slave, before the Red Mansion pulled me up. My life was sordid, small and pointless... The streets of stygia are not for the faint of heart, nor for the naive or the timid. I had a master, another ghost, my family in thrall to his for generations. Then I came into my calling, I became a bounty unter, first in legendary Dari of the mists, then here, in Stygia. I earned first coin, then magic, turning my fury against enemies of ghostly society. When I returned to Dari, a chance encounter would turn my existence on its head.   Captured by a bounty, and enslaved according to the laws of Dari, I sought to escape. My predecessor as head of the Red Mansion, the Lady Bludorangen , heard of my plight, and put some wheels in motion, such that 42 years later, I was freed into her custody, and adopted as a 'hand' of the mansion. Working my way upwards again, I repaid her kindness in kind, slaying hostile members of other mansions on orders, I bided my time. A century later, appointed as the Mansion's collective representative to the ruling council of the city, I was her second in command in all ways. When she sought to meddle with the Lady's plot to capture Yurumi Maldi, I interfered, choosing the Lady I still serve, over my benefactor, having long ago learned the Lady's lessons on love's burden. Slaying the older ghost using a forbidden sorcery, I swore fealty to the lady.
