Born in Gem to a mine owner's family, she moved to Chiaroscuro, then to Nexus. With her engineering and management experience, she could not find work worthy of her skills, waiting tables in Nexus until she decided to invent and develop her own business, a little moveable type book shop in the Bastion district.
