The Sea Shanties

Only in Palanquin for the Festival of Clouds, this small roving troupe of twenty mortal actors has been hired to participate in the rituals, after a number of locals were disqualified for being too amenable to the mysterious rebellion, and promptly imprisoned.
Unknown to most, Cynis Falen Sakami was one of their number, in his youth, as this troupe has been around for half a century, performing risqué, racy plays for the wealthy all around the Dreaming Sea. His opinion of them is obscured, but he was the one who suggested having them as paid performers during rituals, with so many missing due to political reliability issues.
