Skeid Longship

The Skeid class longship is a large northern warship much larger than the Snekkja Longship. The Skeid has a size of up to 30 metres in length, a width of 3.5m, and a draught of 0.8 m. The Skeid has both sails and oars, with up to 30 pairs of oars to power it. As essentially the mid sized longship, the Skeid is a sizeable seaworthy vessel. It can carry a crew of around 70. The Skeid is big enough to lead a raid to far off lands.
The Skeid is mainly used by northern folk like the Fhokki, Deji and Skraeling.
