Camilla Ellestrom
The star of the university
Provost Camilla Ellestrom is the head of research at The Alexandrian University, having recently earned the position after a groundbreaking report and study of a supernatural entity, the 12th entity ever found that actually meets the standards of the term.
The entity was cornered and eventually defeated by The Black Betties, who handed the corpse over to the university shortly after. The incident abd the strange events that occurred afterwards, led Provost Ellestrom to study hemocyst class entities and even led to a successful entry to The Wetworks, a dimension of blood and the domain of an outsider goddess, The Red Maiden.
Her work, and near death experiences during these events impressed the university provosts, having been the only progress they have made on the topics for decades. Her work progressed further, developing new psuedoparanormal medicines from the Razor Briar, a rose like plant found in The Wetworks that the university officially titled "Camillas Rose" in the provosts honor.
achievements
Camilla has several distinctive achievements that she has become known for.- She has written seven separate books on Hemocysm and The Wetworks.
- She discovered the anathema to Hemocyst class entities: Mercury.
- She discovered that The Razor Briar can cure most blood borne pathogens if consumed.
- Camilla maintains a strange but fond friendship with October Cicada Brooks, who currently lives at the University. The woman is undergoing various forms of therapy in an attempt to cure the passion, an addiction brought on by use of arcana sanguis

So, how does one mount an expedition into the wetworks? I mean, I just read the whole article about the ritual to do the pilgrimage, but I was under the impression that you needed a pretty good reason to go; or was that just for the blood wards? Camilla seems like she practically lives in the wetworks; it's more her home than anywhere else, even, dare I say, the university. If she lingers there, Is it still dangerous or have the various creatures of the wetworks (most importantly the red maiden herself, I suppose) accepted her presence by now? The Red Maiden is pretty much the opposite of a sheltering parent; no wonder they freaked out! I wonder if any PIs have been tasked with finding Camilla just to get to the university and witness some huge metaphysical event and get some candlelight. That is officially my PI's backstory now, I think. Not that it would be easy to track her down. She literally just teleported out into the field; that's gonna be very difficult to trace unless the process left some residue or maybe some blood. Also, why is she in a spacesuit above? is that just the picture you found or does it serve some purpose? Honestly it could be very useful if you could bring one to the wetworks where everything wants to kill you. and the first two hazards are both drowning risks. As an aside, yes I do comment on your stuff a lot. I try to do what I'd like other folks to do were I in their position, and I LOVE comments. also, your world (worlds) just give(s) me a lot of hooks to grab on to and theorize about. P.S. Do the Red maiden and the green fairy go to the same poker night or something? Is there a blue queen there to balance it out?
There are alot of ways to enter the workworks The pilgrimage is more... official? I'm order the the maiden to bless you as Matron, you must use it. But just hanging out, naw. Oxenfree has been their, using Michael's star, and the university uses October Brooks. . Now thus article needs work, lots of errors and general continuity stuff. Hemocyst needs to be hemolyst for example. cyst is the wrong root word. before becoming the head of the university, yeah. She pretty much lived there. In reality, the wetworks are dangerous to those who don't understand it and adapt to it. Also yes. In many ways, the maiden is like an eldritch 'cool mom' of the neighborhood. Sheltering parents beware. The maiden herself os pretty indifferent to people being their. She's aware and watches but no human could really cause trouble. The image is one I just found and needs replacing but its the closest that really fit my idea of the character. The suit however is a cool coincidence as the university would require it and not just the drowning risks. Some dimensions have toxic air. That is a pretty cool back story. I like that! Go for it! Yes indeed, and I appreciate them so much. I've been trying to push myself to comment more for the same reasons. being an essential worker has made it tough sadly, but I got tabs of the articles I'm gonna comment on. Part 2 is coming and I have not forgotten the make a character page which I'm quite excited for, just need the time. XD soon though. I'm glad my worlds are providing some inspiration though! I love comments as well, and yours give me alot to think about in regards to character and out of the box interpretations. I love it! The green fairy is a much.... weaker entity. Young gods are not quite there yet in regards to power. They are miles away from humans but the maiden has her own dimension, the fairy is like a minor deity. Something I struggled with, and still am, is the language between them. The green fairy is a hedonistic goddess which implies enough about things she is into, but the maiden isn't hedonistic in the same degree. Shes certainly provocative, and sensual, but not about the act itself if you catch my drift. Their is an idea in the works regarding an eldritch entity that is about chastity. Lol that could be odd. As far as balance... eh. That's kind of an issue with the "celestial bureaucracy" the web. It's inbalanced. The red maiden has no antithesis, which is part of why outsiders are so powerful. It changes the game, which implies alot for the future events of the web, and expedition dememter, which are both connected, though the maiden is much younger in exp dem. Once again man thank you so much! Your next comments come today, I am sure of it!
