Gender Ideals

The Ciami concept of gender is vague and ill-defined. Rather than femininity and masculinty, the Ciami view gender on a spectrum with Neean at one end and Mnasne at the other. The conceptual Ciami analog of gender, Ba'tzi, associates Neean with aggression, assertiveness, bluntness, compassion, family, and strength; while it associates Mnasne with apprehensiveness, leadership, subtlety, ruthlessness, individuality and wisdom. Tending towards either end of the spectrum is Ba'tzimna for Mnasne and Ba'tzinee for Neean.
