Control Face

Effect

The caster gains complete control over the faces of creatures affected by this spell (creatures that make their Will save are unaffected by the spell). As a free action, he can mentally control the faces of one or more creatures via the following actions:
  • Hold: the creature's facial features, to the best of their ability, assumes a given position and stays frozen that way
  • Mimic: the creature's facial features mimic that of the caster's, to the best of their ability
  • Routine: the creature's facial features follow a given set of positions, which can end with Hold or Mimic or loop endlessly
Note: while the caster does gain control of all facial features (eg blinking, mouth moving, etc) of the creatures, he cannot make them make noises.   While under the effects of Control Face, any creature attempting to cast a spell with verbal components has a 20% chance of failing to cast it, due to the inability to control the mouth that shapes sounds correctly.
