Red Lilies

Red lilies, "Sunguinymphaea" also known as the "Midwife luck" flower.
The flowers are generally used in order to help Dwarven midwives to deliever babies, as the crushed petals seem to have remdial properties.

Genetics and Reproduction

When lily pad roots are nourished blood from a successful Dwarf birth, they grow a lily pad whose flower is red.
The root also changes it's shape and color, to small tendrils reminding of a jelly fish.
