Silversilk

Silversilk is a type of fabric used in Drowseuessiri and A'shiraf'sirizeen cultures. Its distribution is controlled by drow matrons; pieces of silversilk are gifted to loyal servants to acknowledge a specific success in their duties, such as to warriors being severly injured while defending their matron, or to assassins after completing a virtually impossible mission.
Wearing Silversilk in both cultures is a statement of the utmost favor and the highest rank; full garments made of silversilk are worn exclusively by matrons.

Material Characteristics

Silversilk is renowned for its unique appearance; though it always possesses a silvery sheen, it may be completely opaque or nearly transparent, depending on the light's angle of incidence. This causes it to sometimes look as if it is mere threads rather than a whole fabric, most commonly observed in rolls of woven silversilk looking like bolts of unwoven silver threads.
