Cupid
Have you ever felt that jolt of energy when you see someone. Maybe you even knew them before, but now they seem perfect in every way? Just being near them makes you happy and willing to die for them? What about the times you've woken up the day after and hated yourself because you can't be with The One? Are you one of those who have sobbed in the alleyway after the one you thought loved you raped you instead of waiting? What about the ones who actually died for someone who didn't care? Love — real love, isn't determined by some weird creature with a bow. It is a struggle to get things right.Cupids are a kind of fey that feeds on the hopes of others. They are able to plant loving feelings for someone in a person's mind simply by touch. They then soak up any life force spent by their target to please their new love. Any such effort that is abused tasts extra sweet. The idea of love at first sight delights these entities as it makes it so much harder for anyone to dismiss what they feel as irrational. Cupids try to get away with encouraging the most over-the-top way of showing love. Insade acts of jealousy can do the trick if suffering doesn't.
Basic Information
Anatomy
While Cupids look very similar to humans, there are a few differences. Cupids usually have very pale or very dark skin - nothing in-between, and red hair. And their irises, when studied closely, look like they are made out of liquid falling into the pupil like waterfalls.
