Spider silk

Spider silk is a very popular material in Fairie. There are clothes, shoes, rope, and even some weapons made from it.  The fabric can be made from any spider weak. The trick is in how the weaver trains the spiders and have them eat old clothing and dye. When they make something, such as a dress, the weaver puts the design and cloth with the colour in a jar of spiders. The spiders then climb onto the person and make the dress on their body.
Spider silk is very strong — even more so than leather. This makes many Fey look down on humans who wear such simple materials.
