The Easter Bunny

Written by NathaliaBooks1993

At its core, the Easter bunny is a trickster spirit whose game of risk has become a tradition. It used to be that it hid foods and important tools from people to see them struggle. Like many fey, it got trapped by its own rituals and has become completely focused on the days in the spring when food became available after the winter and the last of the stores could be finished. This vulnerable time was perfect for the bunny to hide food from its victims.   Not content with the difficulties it already caused, the Easter bunny has started to add strange effects to the edibles it hides. It might be poison, it might be a curse, or it might cause mental strain. As humans developed ways to have enough food to not worry about the shift from winter as much, the bunny relied more heavily on these tricks to get the pain it craved. The true excitement was the result of the establishment of rituals where children were set to hunt for treats. The malice of the Easter bunny had become a tradition where hapless humans willingly sacrificed their children.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

The Easter bunny shifts between two shapes. One is an anthropomorphic bunny about 1,7 m tall with an almost camouflage pale grey pattern. The other form is that of an ordinary-looking white bunny or rabbit. In either form, it can turn invisible for short periods of time, helping it steal and scatter its treasures.

Apparel & Accessories

In its humanoid form, the Easter bunny wears a fur coat that can change colour. The coat melds with the animal form when the bunny shifts to it. Some theories that the coat is made from the furs of impostors and competitors, but no one knows for certain.
