Grot lies abandoned, destroyed first by the Arathim at the bidding of the Skeksis, and then further driven to ruin by the once-peaceful underground creatures, now Darkened. Where once the Grottan Clan lived in harmony with all the crawling creatures beneath the surface, there is only destruction, decay, and a darkness more evil and corrupt than a mere lack of light.
