Ordinarily there are no Podlings in the Marshlands, but the shape of this pod seed house, and the noise drifting from the clearing, is unmistakably Podling. A Podling man, dressed in a mess of vines and leaves stuck on with mud, is sitting hunched over a fire, rubbing the sides of his head with two fingers. Behind the pod seed house is a playpen filled to the brim with rambunctious Podling children.
