Serpents of Sentiment

The craggy cliffs of the Sifan Coast are a bulwark against the sea. Here they are broken in one place by a river-cut gorge. High above, the metal railings of a grand bridge glint in the light; from a distance it looks as though the entire structure is coated in tightly bound chainmail. A thin wisp of iridescent smoke rises from the chimney of a grotto tucked beneath one end of the bridge.
