The Glass Chalice

This crater of vitrified sand, legend has it, was created thousands of trine ago, when a flaming rock fell from the heavens into the sands of the Crystal Desert. Great shards of clear glass reach up at strange angles toward the sky. At dusk, these collect dew, which pools in the center of the chalice, and the shallow bowl has become a favored watering hole for local wildlife and passing nomads, despite the foreboding atmosphere.
