Torrgahlin Iceborn, Paladin of Zagulth
Torrgahlin Iceborn is a scion of the Iceborn Clan of Mountain Dwarves who has dedicated herself to the service of the people of Thernheim and the world at large. She is a Paladin of the Church of Shashasta, and actively participates in her religion via daily prayers and offerings to her particular deity Zagulth.
Personality
Torrgahlin is a devout and charitable Dwarf who trusts easily. She donates a large portion of her earnings as a Paladin of Zagulth to charitable causes, although she has been fooled into scams claiming to help the poor on more than one occasion. Torrgahlin will sacrifice things of great personal value in order to help her community.
Torrgahlin's own devotion to her deity does not extend to how she views others. She believes that people of other faiths are not incorrect in worshiping other deities and respects them for "finding their own devotion".

Despite Torrgahlin being cheated and scammed numerous times, she continues to make and build relationships to the best of her ability. She believes the best of people, and lives by the personal tenet of "Trust and regret, rather than doubt and regret".

Veit Iceborn
Veit took Torrgahlin in as his foster daughter after her birth parents were killed in an Usposian raid when she was twelve. Veit was not her next of kin, but his closeness to Torrgahlin's birth father (who was also Veit's cousin) convinced him to ask permission of the clan elder to take her in.
Baern Lutgehr
Baern and Torrgahlin are in an arranged betrothal, and do not know each other well. Despite this, they get along decently and believe a marriage between them would work. Their marriage is meant to intermix the Lutgehr and Iceborn clans, which have long been allies.
Darrak Iceborn
Torrgahlin has very few clear memories of her birth father Darrak. She was only twelve when he was killed in an Usposian raid. Most of her memories of him involve his music in some way, from a lullaby he sang her to the rousing tunes he played on his fiddle.
