Vampire

"Ghastly-faced" personifications of murder outside of battle, according to Greek mythology. While the old stories identify these creatures as exclusively male, that is false. Such stories also call them demons and the children of Eris.

Vampires, the phonoi of Greek mythology, are Humans blessed with the touch of the Moon and gifted with powers of blood and darkness. This blessing may be bestowed upon another. Even so, vampires are very rare and very protective of their secrets. While consanguineous vampires may display similar attributes, the Dark Gift is unique to each individual who bears it.

As champions of the Moon, they may occasionally be called to do the will of Selene and they are compelled to obey.
