Basin Fort - Knight Report
The good news: the ruin blocks the waterway. The bad news: we can't tell what might be hiding inside the fort. Furthermore, what if it was meant to hold back creatures rather than enemy forces? What if the enemy forces can swim? Can we even trust the lake? The place gives us naught but concern. We can't afford to have troops observe the fort, since we don't want to tip off any residents that we are ready to attack. As such, we have no choice but to prepare a stealth approach. This means we must figure out if the lake is a risk or a possible approach venue. We would need skilled scouts either way, this is beyond the capabilities of cavalry.
