She is the heir apparent of the House of de Cloche, one of the most prominent families in the Kingdom of Seinis in Greater Huraedon. While the de Cloche family is from the northern lesser hills of Seinis, they have made their name as nobility in the southern holdings where the olive garths grow. It is an almost legendary story. An upstart family a thousand miles to the north, an inhospitable and poor place, gain land in some of the fairest and wealthiest land in Seinis.
The de Cloche family is signified by their pale blonde hair, which is a relative anomaly so far down south.
Laurentin, as a woman, has to prove herself time and time again as a competent leader, but she has the spirit of a hero, and the strength of one as well. Laurentin is a part of the Order of Audurn, a prestigious order of knights famous in the southeastern part of Greater Huraedon.
She is the older sister of Luxanova.
