Some say Abayin was at the peak of the Palace of Ice when it crashed and fell and rent Nelqora in two in conjunction with the fiery volcanoes, others say that Abayin was in the Vale of Abo, enjoying the luxuries of the empire when all of a sudden the world was rent in fire and water. Either way, his body was destroyed, and he can only ever take the form of a cripple, now.
