Lawson Family
While considered an average Family by Sparnelli power and glory standards, the Lawsons possess a deep sense of loyalty to the Sparnell Confederation and the people around them, which has earned them the trust and acceptance of the majority of other Families.
Culture
Despite the common political maneuverings of the Sparnell Confederation the Lawsons are not considered a threat to any other Families, but often great assistance, unifying those around them into a common cause for the betterment of the Confederation. Within the command structure of the Sparnell Armed Forces members of the Lawson Family will typically allow their superior to dictate this primary goal, although they will not hesitate to offer their own suggestions or alter the implementation plans for reaching that goal.
Public Agenda
The Lawsons do not pledge their allegiance to any Sparnelli Families, instead working to better the lives of all Sparnelli citizens, particularly those who look to the Lawson for assistance or leadership.
Jake shifted his weight. "But they're still not going to leave me alone, are they?" Shane chuckled, watching the awe in the eyes of Veris and his gang every time they looked in Jake's direction. "Why would they? You've earned their respect. And their loyalty." He returned his attention to Jake, meeting his eyes and placing a hand on both shoulders. "They're your responsibility now." Jake's face looked pained. "I don't know what to do about that. What if I mess up?" "Good thing you've got me then," Shane smirked. "I've made a lot of mistakes in my day. I'll make sure you don't make the same ones." His face turned serious. "But you will make mistakes. Learn, apologize, and try again. And never lead through fear. Trust me, it won't end well."
