Daxter Hunt (a.k.a. Jackal)
A master of the wilds, Daxter "Jackal" Hunt and his loyal eagle companion, Lance, have explored the wilderness for much of their lives. Upon arriving in Bekilk, he immediately saw the oppression by the Church of the Sun. He was almost captured and executed, along with Lance, but they managed to escape with the help of a handful of volunteers and a sorceress named Yasmin. Since then, he has helped form the Eclipse and is considered one of the main leaders of the rebellion.

Lightly trimmed, poorly groomed beard and stache as if he's lived in the woods for some time and shaved with his own blade.

Personal history
Hailing from the city of Westbridge in the Empire, young Daxter preferred to explore the outdoor wilderness. As he matured, he enlisted in the Imperial military as a scout and proved himself to be a valuable asset when it comes to survival in the woods to the southwest regions of the Empire. However, young Daxter was influenced by the ideals of the Haagstad Pact and defected from the Empire to join the rebel group. After a short while, Daxter realized that this rebellion was doomed to fail and left it behind, along with the deeds he has done that he does not wish to remember.
He lived in the woods of Ironwood, all the while traveling south, eventually reaching Bekilk, where he was suddenly thrown into another rebellion: this one with a truer motive than the last.

After Yasmin saved Daxter from the Church of the Sun, they both emerged as leaders of the Eclipse. Over time, Daxter began to feel a romantic attraction to her, though she has shut him down and placed him comfortably in the friendzone.
History
Princess Nala teamed up with the Eclipse shortly after their main base was invaded by the Church of the Sun. Though they both have the same goal, they view each other with slight mistrust. This mainly due to Nala and Daxter having different views about who should lead the liberated Bekilk after the revolution.
