Chapter 5: Connected

Clue Crackers didn't fully SOLVE this 'puzzle', but I didn't expect them to. I started to make it something more hinted, but this was fine, because though the exact answer wasn't guessed, the themes discussed were on point. Shout out to @SaigeKate for identifying most of the objects.
  The symbols really were (from left to right, top to bottom) Wand/Baton, period, the letter W, a single eighth note, a pair of wings, a pair of beamed eighth notes, the letter Z, an exclamation point, and a trumpet/horn
  @pinecone suggested
maybe the wings are meant to imply "mirrored on both sides"?

  @BerrybrookDreamcartographer noted
It's possible that the purple objects are all connected and the green objects are all connected, and figuring out how is part of the solution

  @Apprentice/Escritora Novata observed
I started thinking that it could be changing green peaceful to purple more... exciting and noisy...So maybe it's something about opposites that make a whole or share something in their core?

  @SylvirAshe proffered
...both green and purple need blue to even exist.So it definitely ties into the they are part of each other/need each other theories.

  More good points were made, but these sum up the prompt for...

Chapter 5: Connected

Take a look at the Dragon Tales themesong:   TL;DW?
The grid's green squares correspond to Zak (the green half of the two-headed dragon) and the purple squares correspond to Wheezie (the purple half). In the video, Zak holds the stick as they lead the parade. Later, Wheezie blows the trumpet. Zak is more calm and sensible while Wheezie is loud and rambunctious, shouting "LOOOOVE IT!!!!" often to Zak's annoyance. Zak wears the single note. Wheezie wears the double. Zak starts with Z. Wheezie starts with W. Though @A.J. Karian's comment about ZZZ meaning sleep and W meaning WIDE AWAKE was admittedly amusing! :D The center square is the color of their belly and features the wings they both share.
  Even without knowing Zak and Wheezie, the detectives did a good job in figuring out that this start of the BOUND saga will focus on being BOUND to another. This could be physically, as in handcuffed together etc., merged in some way like Zak and Wheezie, or more metaphorically. Siblings, married, betrothed, befriended, even sworn against as enemies. Your job is to show one or more of your character(s) BOUND to another person (or maybe a thing, whatever works for you). This bond can be good or bad. They can be annoyed by each other or completely love each other. It can be intentional and mutual (choosing to sit together at lunch etc.), or there can have been something forcing them to be together (stuck in the same jail cell etc.). This bond could have been forged at birth (siblings, twins, etc. like Zak and Wheezie) or could have been created far into the future. They can be like yin-yang and complete each other as opposites attract, or they can both be so similar it's almost like they are the same person.
