About The Goblinar Deities

The Goblinar were the third race of Astralar to come to Cartyrion. Always striving to prove their worth among the Astralar, Vurik and Gaara set about Awakening a race of followers that they believed would be acknowledged by the others as equal and worthy. And thus, they brought about the The Awakening of the Goblins.

But the Alevar and Duagnar are both of haughty and self-aggrandizing natures - at best, they considered the creatures of the Goblinar to be comical diversions. The Orcs were brutal and believed that none but the Orcs deserved to live upon the world. The Goblins were scorned as inferiors.

Nevertheless, Vurik and Gaara ensured their children were prolific and persistent in their quest for acceptance. Later, other Goblinar would arrive, each with their own ideas on how the goblin children of Cartyrion should seek acceptance - some by usefulness, others by fear. Vurik and Gaara would even Awaken other creatures, seeking as they did to demonstrate their worth among the Astralar, but little came of these efforts.
