Darkspark

A withered, ancient-looking goblin, with spectacles and a silk robe, may not even be seen by the party until they return from their first foray into the Academy. She is the Marquis' Appraiser, responsible for setting values on any exotic items the party returns with.

Description

Darkspark is a goblin... a very old goblin... possibly the oldest looking goblin you've ever come across. She stands about 3ft 7in (109cm) tall, but her hunched posture makes her appear even smaller. She weighs 92lb (42kg). Darkspark's skin is more pale grey than green, and quite wrinkled. One or two stray, wild hairs are all that's left atop her head. When reading any sort of document or examining an item, she dons wire-framed half-spectacles that allow her to use either aided or unaided vision as she desires. She wears flowing robes that appear to have been made of expensive silks and satins, but they are quite old. The lower hems are frayed; the sleeves are inkstained.

First Impression

When introduced to her, you are tlkd that Darkspark is "Chief Cataloger", responsible for assessing any historical artifacts that the Adventurers might bring back from the Academy site. She doesn't socialize with anyone else in the camp except perhaps the Marquis and his servant Gregory. She never enters the tavern. She doesn't speak much; acknowleding her when encountered in the camp will usually be met with nothing more than a nod and a quiet grunt. The only person in camp she seems to show any deference to is the Marquis, and even that is quite subtle.
