Dryad Tea
It all started out innocently enough. A group of adventurers came upon a pair of dryads bathing in a hot spring. After they left, the warrior Bralonod the Bold exclaimed, "I would love to drink their bath water!"
After some teasing and a few bets were made, Bralonod crept up to the spring and took a sip of green-tinged water. He gasped out loud in surprise, "This is the most delicous tea I've ever had!"
The other members of his group clambered down to share his experience and they all ended up agreeing with Bralonod that the "dryad tea" was indeed delicious and gave them surprising amounts of energy. That night the entire group was racked with horrific stomach cramps. The next morning Bralonod awoke, the only survivor of his first experiment with drinking someone's bath water.
Undeterred, Bralonod settled next to the spring with a new life's goal: making the dryad tea safe for consumption. He befriended Indica and Sativa, the dryads of the spring, and spent a few years experimenting with their bath water.
Eventually he discovered that Sativa was the source of the poison. Her tree had been tainted by a stake used to kill a vampire, corrupting Sativa and turning her against the living. Bralonod and Inidica managed to banish Sativa, sending her tree across the forest from them, and purifying the hot springs.
With the corruption gone, the pure dryad tea was safe for everyone to drink. Bralonod married Indica and they make a good living selling her bath water far and wide.
