World Anvil February 2023 Challenge
This year, World Anvil is opening up with an interesting daily challenge for February. Poetry, prose, art, or worldbuilding based on a list of one-word prompts!
I was literally at the book store yesterday looking at art supplies, so I'm planning on doing little drawings for some of these. We'll see where the prompts take me!

The shell of an Undershard Snail can mean life or death for those on the Surface of the Shattered Moon.

Tiamat, the colorful Five-Headed Mother, is worshipped by dragons and dragonborn, especially on the island of Darastrix Tolgalen.

The last thing you want to see at night, a nocturnal demon owlbear silently coming out of the darkness for you.

The mythical Ki-rins patrol the skies over the Kirinal Pit that was named for them. The Heavenly Council of Ki-rins are the first line of supernatural defense for the children of the Zone.

The dangers of the Zone encourages even prey animals to favor defensive adaptations. An influx of almiraj have bred true, giving the previously defenseless rabbits, (known as stabbits) a way to fight back.

Monstrous
The spirit of the monstrous Bakunawa rises as the number of moons increase. The Shattered Moon has been joined by the Hidden Moon and the Silversong Moon. The remaining four moons await.

The so-called "Cordyceps Queen" wishes to bring the gift of Hexocybin Mushrooms to everyone. This aspect of the Myconid Mother promises that she is no danger to other sophonts.

Little known fact, if velociraptors like you, they'll purr. If they don't you're dead!

Shriek
Who hears the shriek of the myconid sprouts? The Myconid Mother needs your help saving her children.

The world's lycans have found their transformations infected with clockwork, resulting in the Hidden Moon Frenzy.

The tamed Red Plains Quetzals have made the Mountain Jakar into valuable scouts and messengers for the Kirinal Garrison.

Burrow
Bullettes, known as land sharks, burrow in the soil of the Zone. They hunt hexworms and are a huge threat to the Hex Crystal supply.

Baku have an unbreakable bond with the children they protect. The Heavenly Council of Ki-rins assigns a guardian baku to each child in the Zone.

The Alian Tribes and the Borthakarans both revere the stinky wolverines that hunt on the frozen tundra of their homeland.

Of all the Gourmet Golems, the gentle kookie kids are the most vulnerable, and the most delicious.

On the Shattered Moon, dragon fly messengers travel between the Shards of Thaya.

Workers prepare a "bro-levi-lette" roast for Sgt. Yahn Sunder's Annual Megafauna Barbecue at the Kirinal Garrison.

The vicious Black Chick infects mortals, turning them into monstrous Aswang. There are some that seek out this transformtion intentionally.

Silent stalkers creep through the Anomalous Forest in search of prey.
Parasite
Parasite
The parasite known as the death's head orchid accelerates the metabolism of it's host. The host is fooled into thinking they are getting stronger and faster, while the orchid feeds on them.
Predator

Even in a high magic, spirit infested place like the Kirinal Concordance Zone, common housecats are still significant predators that keep the population of evil spirits down!
Stalk
Stalk
Danger stalks the vines of Lokorn, the great balete tree on the Shattered Moon.
