Personal history

Once a royal sage to the king of Reignfall Ilore was always curious to discover new things in the unknown reaches of human civilization. As he explored he learned of many magics and unusual ruins of lost races. He even meet other non-human races in far lands and came to adventure with some along his journey. He wrote these adventures down as much as he could but the journal was lost due to the pressing threat looming over his people. As war began Ilore had pushed himself to become a war mage and leave behind his sage duties. He soon gathered other young followers and gained favor in the ranks of the military. The human race was spiraling to a lose and the final battle was coming to the human capitol. Ilore felt helpless at the massive hordes of his foes and looked to a ancient mineral that had appeared during the Endless Tear called Aetheridium. He felt that its power could save his people from annihilation but the king did not feel that it mattered to even try it a suggested to Ilore to flee with him into the swampy wastes. This cowardice filled Ilore with rage and shame resulting in him killing the king. He then unleashed the power of the Aetheridium causing his people to mutate and warp under the effect of the wild magic. Even with such a result the enemy was also taken aback from such a display that they broke for a retreat. Within the throne room was Ilore still alive but changed with several elements flowing around him. To this day he has used such elements to garner peace and reclaim the other kingdoms of man and unite them under one banner. Thus creating the grand empire of Elemythia and crowning himself the Grand Malgum, master of all magic and elements alike.
