Marrow Cookie
Marrow cookies are desserts baked by Eusteans, in the Katoa region of the Shimmering Ocean. They are a popular snack of the elderly, as the soft texture is easy on their weak jaws. Marrow cookies are also more popular during Eustean Festival of the Dead, an autumn holiday celebrating the people who have passed.
The Eustean Festival of the Dead is a holiday celebrated in the Katoa region of the Shimmering Ocean. The holiday aims to remind people of the past, and celebrate passed family members. Marrow cookies were invented in Erribar, during the festival. They were quickly popularised throughout the cities within the region, and became a staple of the festival, the marrow ingredient symbolising the dead.
Marrow cookies are actually the signature food of the renowned baker, Avalar Mant, a baker, chef, and author from Ternpel, a Eustean city in the Shimmering Ocean, just north of Volcania.
Recipe:
100g unsalted butter
75g silver sugar
50g golden syrup
30g bone marrow
250g self-raising flour
1tsp bicarbonate of soda
1 small egg yolk, beaten
In a saucepan, melt the unsalted butter, silver sugar, golden syrup, and bone marrow.
Mix the flour and bicarbonate of soda in a bowl. While stirring, pour in the saucepan mixture slowly. Then add the beaten egg yolk in and stir well.
Move the dough onto a flat surface, and cut into small doughballs ready to be baked.
Space the doughballs on a tray lined with baking paper.
Bake for 10-15 minutes (depending on the strength of the bubble oven) until crisp on top.
Leave them to cool on a cooling rack, then enjoy.
This is a nice succinct article. Maybe add in some quotes from people who like them (or don't). Is there a business known for making them? Good stuff!

I'm not proud of the fact I needed to google "succinct"... But thank you for the suggestions on what to write next and glad you like it! Have a great day! :)
